AS9120B is the distributor standard, not the manufacturer standard. Buyers who need to flow requirements down to their supply chain do not have to make an exception for us, and the records exist because the system requires them.
Bin stocking, scheduled releases and blanket pricing move the hardware problem off the production floor. Most customers come to us after a line stopped for a part that costs a few cents.
When a specification is superseded or a manufacturer discontinues a line, we cross-reference to a qualified equivalent rather than returning a no-quote. Forty years of sourcing history is most useful on exactly these parts.
