// ACROSS THE SITE

Connect products, industries and services.

Service programs are built on the product range behind them. The products page covers the full range of commercial, electronic, assembly, Mil-Spec and custom hardware, while the industries page sets out the sectors Webson supplies and the requirements typical of each.

On the product side, commercial hardware covers the standard bolts, screws, nuts and washers that make up most recurring programs; Mil-Spec hardware covers AN, MS, NAS and NASM parts where documentation requirements drive the order; and custom fasteners and finishes covers drawing-based components with coordinated machining and finishing.

For programs where traceability is the governing requirement, the military and aerospace page describes the applications involved, and certifications sets out Webson’s AS9120B and ISO 9001 registration for the distribution of fastening products and installation tooling.

// FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Service program questions.

Which Webson service is best for recurring fastener requirements?

It depends on the pattern of the requirement. Managed replenishment suits steady usage on many small items; blanket orders and scheduled releases suit committed volume drawn down over a period; kitting suits repeating assemblies. The appropriate program depends on usage, order frequency, quantities, lead times and operational requirements, which is why the review starts with your purchasing history rather than with a package.

Can Webson review a complete purchase list or bill of material?

Yes. Recurring purchase lists, bills of material, problem-part lists and supplier-consolidation projects can all be submitted for review, and mixed lists containing commercial, electronic, Mil-Spec and custom products can be reviewed together rather than split into separate requests.

Can standard and custom fasteners be supplied through one program?

Yes. Because Webson supplies commercial, electronic, assembly, Mil-Spec and made-to-print hardware, a single program can span categories that would otherwise require separate suppliers. Which items are suitable depends on demand consistency, lead time, sourcing conditions and documentation requirements.

Does Webson offer both kitting and inventory-management services?

Yes, and they are frequently combined. Kitting determines how components arrive; inventory management determines when. Used together on a recurring assembly, the kit structure stays fixed while replenishment follows the production schedule.

Can Webson coordinate plating and secondary operations?

Yes. Plating, zinc finishes, Alodine, heat treatment, post-plating baking and thread patching can be coordinated with the order through qualified processing sources, according to the applicable specification. Availability depends on the component, base material and process requirements.

Can certifications and traceability be supplied with an order?

Applicable certificates of conformance, material documentation, special-process certifications and lot traceability can be supplied when required. Documentation availability depends on the product, the specification and the accepted purchase-order requirements, so each requirement should be identified during quotation rather than assumed.

Is there a minimum volume for a Webson service program?

There is no published minimum. Suitability depends on the number of parts, usage, order frequency, lead times and the overall scope of the program, and custom or specially processed items may carry minimums set by the manufacturing source. Send the requirement and Webson will review whether a program makes sense.

How do we request a service-program quotation?

Send your part numbers, purchase list, bill of material, usage information, drawings and any quality requirements through Webson’s RFQ page at Quote.html. Files can be attached directly to the request.
