A connector family name does not identify every mounting thread or post length. Check the exact connector, panel stack and mating hardware. Similar posts can differ at either end.

Preserve the complete manufacturer designation
Include material, finish and any specified locking treatment with the hardware number. If quoting a set, identify whether it includes the nuts and washers. Do not assume hardware from another connector uses the same interfaces.
Connectors on equipment panels and assemblies
Jack screws and posts are used where the connector design calls for them. Send the connector number and mounting arrangement when the hardware number is unknown. A proposed replacement should be checked against the complete assembly and mating side.

Does the connector type tell me the jack-screw thread?
Use the exact connector and hardware data. A broad connector family does not establish every thread and dimension.
Are both ends of a jack post the same thread?
Not necessarily. Specify each interface separately.
Can hardware be quoted as a set?
List the complete set number or all required pieces, quantities and configuration so the supplied contents are clear.
