Provide the current drawing and revision, required quantity, material, finish, tolerances, special-process requirements, required documentation and requested delivery date. Include any applicable specifications or approved manufacturer requirements.
Can Webson manufacture a part from a customer drawing?
Webson can review customer drawings and coordinate production through qualified manufacturing sources. The drawing, revision and purchase-order requirements control the finished component.
Which custom manufacturing processes are available?
Webson can coordinate turned, milled, cold-formed and broached components, depending on the part geometry, material, quantity and drawing requirements.
Can Webson coordinate plating and heat treatment?
Yes. Webson can coordinate required plating, heat treatment, Alodine, zinc finishes, post-plating baking, thread patching and other specified secondary operations. Availability depends on the individual component and specification.
Can Webson supply documentation with a custom part?
Applicable certifications, traceability and order documentation can be supplied according to the component and customer requirements. All documentation requirements should be stated with the RFQ and purchase order.
Can Webson review both prototype and production quantities?
Webson can review different quantity requirements, but manufacturing options, pricing and minimum quantities depend on the component, process and manufacturing source. Submit the required quantity for evaluation.
Can standard and custom fasteners be quoted together?
Yes. Customers can submit bills of material containing commercial fasteners, electronic hardware, Mil-Spec components and made-to-print parts for review through one Webson RFQ.
